As the poster of that Quora question referenced above, Hilary, just a quick note of public thanks for your talk! It popped back into my mind as I was talking with colleagues about the challenge of providing technical support to faculty who prefer to email their technology emergencies to the personal inbox of their instructional consultant who then has to recompose and forward the request along into the traditional help desk system (often from a BlackBerry while running from one meeting to another). I’m sure you’re not one of those kinds of faculty. Anyway, yours was a great talk to get the creative juices flowing around the topic of improving/speeding/automating this kind of “customer service.” Thank you!

Wonderful talk. Made me smile when I saw the words “Yes, it will be on the exam.” I have some ideas that just might make your scripts slightly more robust in terms of their summation functionality. I can’t wait to get my hands on the source! I think that you’re really onto something here.
